JUDGMENT / ORDER

Smt Mallisetty Ramadevi, W/o.Rambabu, Aged about 45 yrs, Occu : Agriculture, R/o.Koyyalagudem Village & Mandal, West Godavari District .. Petitioner And The Tobacco Board, Rep., by its Chairman, Guntur, Guntur District & 2 others .. Respondents This Court made the following :
ORDER :
The petitioner claims to be a small farmer having agricultural dry land to an extent of Ac.10-83 cents in Survey No.864, 814, 819, 873 and 876 of Bodegudem Gram Panchayat, Koyyalagudem Mandal, West Godavari District. The petitioner has been growing tobacco and for earlier two seasons, license was granted to her. The petitioner has applied for the present season i.e., 2014-15 on 20.10.2014 bearing application No.169. But so far no decision is communicated.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of delay in communicating decision, the petitioner’s schedule of growing tobacco is being effected.
3. Having regard to the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Board to consider the application bearing No.169 dated 20.10.2014 as per the applicable Production Policy/Criteria for registration within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any such decision, it is open for her to avail the remedies available under law. There shall be no order as to costs.
4. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
