JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION Nos.32797, 32801, 32814 & 32815 OF 2014 Date:31.10.2014 WRIT PETITION No.32797 OF 2014 Between:
Malla Reddy Edcuational Society and others .. Petitioners And The State of Telangana, rep., by its Principal Secretary Higher Education Department, Secretariat Buildings, Hyderabad and others .. Respondents THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION Nos.32797, 32801, 32814 & 32815 OF 2014 COMMON ORDER:
Heard.
A common question is raised in all these writ petitions where the challenge is to the proceedings issued by the Convenor E-CET – 2014 (Admissions) and the said proceedings addressed to respective colleges where the list of approved candidates was sent. In the said list, however, list of such of the candidates whose admissions are rejected, is questioned in these writ petitions on the ground that they belong to other States and no objection is raised with regard to their eligibility into colleges. All the learned counsel have placed reliance upon the judgment of this Court in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and batch, dated 20.11.2009, which has been subsequently followed in various matters including the latest orders in W.P.Nos.23913 of 2013 and 2554 of 2014, dated 14.08.2013 and 31.01.2014, respectively.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Convenor E-CET clearly submits that the issue is already adjudicated by this Court, as covered, as aforesaid.
In view of the same, the impugned proceedings so far as they relate to rejection of candidature of students admitted by the petitioners respectively only on the ground that they belong to other States shall stand set aside subject to the condition that the admitted students are eligible for admission and qualified for that. The Convenor shall, therefore, re-examine the matter and pass appropriate orders expeditiously preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in the light of directions of this Court, referred to above.
Accordingly, the writ petitions are allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
