Heard counsel for the petitioners.
The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief :
"a) call for the records of the case and after perusal the same issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.1 to decide the revision no.759/LR of 2008-09 (Rais Ahmad and others vs. Male Khan) within a period of two months."
It is stated that the revision aforesaid is pending consideration since the year 2008-09.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the Board of Revenue, respondent no. 1 may endeavour to decide the Revision No.759/LR of 2008-09 (Rais Ahmad and others vs. Male Khan), expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
