Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus Commanding the Trial Court/Tehsildar, Phoolpur, District-Azamgarh (Respondent no.2) to decide the proceeding of Mutation Case No. T2016150603861 dated 18.03.2016, Mainawati Vs. Chandrawati, under Section 34 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, Mauja Rasulpur Ahmad Ali, Pargana Mahul, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh within stipulated period as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner is aggrieved as his mutation application pending since 2016 has not been decided finally till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh to decide the mutation application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
