By way of the instant petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.2 to decide mutation application registered as Case No.232 of 2008-09, Maimulnish Vs. Abdul Manan and others, under Section 34 L.R. Act, pending in the court of the Tehsildar, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj, expeditiously.
I have considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
It is expected that respondent no.2 shall expedite and conclude the proceeding of the aforesaid case expeditiously within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before it after affording opportunity of hearing to both the parties in accordance with law, if there is no other legal impediment on its way.
With the aforesaid direction, this petition is disposed of.
