The petitioner's Writ Petition No.34699 (SS) of 2018 was finally disposed of by the Writ Court vide judgement and order dated 4.12.2018 with direction to respondent no.2 in the writ petition to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.7.2017 in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order.
Sri Vivek Srivastava holding brief of Ms. Suniti Sachan, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation of the petitioner has been disposed of and, therefore, this contempt petition has been rendered infructuous. However, he would like to challenge the decision on his representation.
In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives in the present contempt petition, which is hereby dismissed as having become infructuous.
The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the decision on his representation, if he is aggrieved in any manner before the competent Court/forum, if he is so advised and law permits.
Contempt notice stands discharged.
