From the report dated 27.3.2012 of the Medical Officer, Vadodara Central Jail, Vadodara, it is evident that the applicant was referred to S.S.G. Hospital, Vadodara, but all the senior consultants were on strike and, hence, the needful could not be done. That, the patient's ailment and disease are life one and patient needs to be referred to concerned hospital at any point of time for emergency reason, review and follow-up so that the appropriate and timely treatment could be given. The report dated 27.3.2012 of the Medical Officer, Vadodara Central Jail, Vadodara, is ordered to be taken on record.
Considering the above, it is open to the Medical Officer, Vadodara Central Jail, Vadodara, to exercise his discretion with regard to ailment of the applicant and, if necessary, he would take proper permission of the Home Department and manage ailment of the applicant.
With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
