1. This writ petition is a letter sent by detenue from jail. It was said that he is in jail since 1979 and therefore, further period in jail be remitted.
2. Learned A.G.A. has filed an affidavit, stating in para 4 that petitioner Maheshwari Prasad S/o Ram Dulare has already been released from Central Jail, Bareilly on 6.1.1998, after serving out 25 years of imprisonment.
3. In the circumstances, nothing survives.
4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
