Heard Sri Santosh Kumar Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Mukesh Kumar Singh for the corporation and the learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent concerned to provide Electricity Connection of Private Tube-well to the petitioner in pursuance of the estimate fee Rs.9200/- deposited by him on 29.10.2016 within a stipulated period.
Learned counsel for respondents submits that no useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending, same be disposed of by giving appropriate directions to the authority concerned.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction that in the event, petitioner files a fresh application in accordance with law for grant of new Electricity connection, same shall be considered and decided forthwith.
