1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners' Writ Petition No.595 (S/S) of 2019 was finally disposed of vide judgment and order dated 19.04.2019, directing the Senior Superintendent of Police, Lucknow to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 22.10.2018 within thirty days from the date certified copy of the order is served.
3. The present contempt petition has been filed, alleging violation/non-compliance of the aforesaid judgment and order passed by this Court.
4. Pursuant to issuance of contempt notice, an affidavit of compliance of Mr. Kalanidhi Naithani, Senior Superintendent of Police, Lucknow has been tendered today in the Court by Mr. Rakesh Nayak, learned Standing Counsel, which is taken on record.
Along with the aforesaid compliance affidavit, copy of order dated 24.08.2019 has been placed on record as Annexure-A1.
From perusal of the aforesaid order dated 24.08.2019, it is evident that the petitioners' claim for the family pension has been rejected on the ground that the petitioners' mother (Smt.Vimlesh Kumari) was alive and the petitioners had filed application for release of the family pension even before the final decision having been pronounced by the trial Court against their mother.
5. In view of the aforesaid, this contempt petition does not survives and is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
Contempt notice stands discharged.
However, it would be open to the petitioners to approach the competent Court/authority once the decision in pending trial is pronounced.
