On the complaint of the petitioner who is a contractor, a departmental inquiry has been initiated against the respondent No.3 vide office order dated 25th July, 2017.
The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for a direction that the aforesaid departmental proceedings be completed within a time bound period.
The petitioner ceases to have any locus to intervene in the matter once action on his complaint has been initiated and the departmental proceedings are going on except for giving evidence if called upon.
It is not the case that the inquiry is being delayed deliberately.
In view of the above, we find no reason for issuing any direction to the respondents for early completion of the inquiry.
The petitioner is free to approach the department for speedy completion of the inquiry.
The writ petition is dismissed with the above observation.
