Present writ petition has been filed by challenging the impugned notice dated 15.03.2018 by which arms license of the petitioner was suspended and further he was given time to submit reply.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State has raised objection about the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground of alternative remedy. He has also invited attention of the Court on Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959 which provides appeal before the Competent Authority, therefore, in the light of aforesaid, writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority in accordance with law.
The writ petition is dismissed.
