Heard Mr A K Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr Vivek Verma, learned counsel for the respondent- Development Authority.
The only prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Secretary Varanasi Development Authority, Varanasi (respondent no.3) to do needful in reference to the letter dated 29.06.2018 written by the respondent no.2 within specified period."
It appears from the documents annexed to the writ petition that some action for amendment of the master plan has already been taken by the concerned authorities. That being so, it was not necessary for the petitioner to approach this Court and, he ought to have waited for its outcome. In the circumstances, we dismiss the petition.
