Sri Gyan Prakash, learned counsel has put in appearance on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner applied for the post of Constable in I.T.B.P.
By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks following relief:
"to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of petitioner for selection on the post of Constable (GD) in ITBP in Bihar in category of OBC."
Sri Gyan Prakash, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that selection pertains to 2011, the result was declared in 2012. The petition is highly barred by laches.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was continuously representing this case.
This Court in exercise of its discretionary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India declines to interfere in the matter at this belated stage.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
