Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.c. has been filed for a direction upon the Court below to decide the Case No. 356 of 2014 new No. 1067 of 2014 (State Vs. Mahesh Kumar Mishra and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 17 of 2004, under Section 498A, 323, 506, 342 of I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Mahila Thana, District Jhansi.
It is submitted by learned counsel for applicant that the applicant is the husband of the opposite party No.2 in trial under Sections 498A, 323, 506, 342 of I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. It is further submitted that trial is pending since 2004.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is provided that the Court below shall proceed to decide the above mentioned case within a period of six months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this Court.
With the aforesaid directions, the application is finally disposed of.
