1. Heard Sri S.R. Pnandey, learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel.
2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner was initially appointed as Assistant Teacher in Sri Vivekanand Junior High School, Mundiya Chetram District Bareilly in the year 1981 and after completion of 10 years satisfactory services he was given a selection grade in the year 1991 and after further 12 years of satisfactory services, he claims that he is entitled for promotional grade which has become due to him since 01.12.2003.
3. It has been submitted that the petitioner has given repeated representational but his claim has not been considered and prayed for a writ of mandamus for grant of his promotional pay scale along with arrears.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that his grievances will be substantially redressed in case respondent No. 2 is directed to consider and decide the grievances of the petitioner as raised by means of his representation dated 20.09.2021 expeditiously.
5. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid prayer.
6. Accordingly, without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 20.09.20212 (Annexure No. 2) expeditiously, say, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
