Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(1) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent No. 1 to decide the Revision No. 717/2017, (Ashok Kumar Versus Mahesh Chandra Parasar and other) u/s- 219 L.R. Act, 1901 pending before Court of Additional Commissioner Agra Division, Agra, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that a revision filed against against an order in proceedings under Section 28 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act for correction of map is pending consideration since the year 2017.
The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the court concerned should endeavour to decide the revision expeditiously provided the lawyers refrain from going on strike.
