The only prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"(a) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 4/District Assistant Sahkari Cooperative Officer/Election Officer, Etawah to restore the nomination/candidature application of the petitioner and the election of ward no. 7 of Kishan Seva Sahkari Samiti Limited, Beena, Basrehar, Etawah may be done again in transparent manner."
We are informed that the election were held on 29.1.2018. In view thereof, this petition renders infructuous. Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
