Public Prosecutor, for R1 ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners without conducting proper enquiry or complaint received against the petitioners.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that at the instigation of the de facto complainant / second respondent, who is the wife of the first petitioner, the first respondent police is frequently asking the petitioners under the guise of enquiry and harassing them. Hence, the present petition.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is no such harassment as alleged by the petitioners. Only based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, an enquiry was conducted and during the course of enquiry, both the parties appeared before the first respondent police and submitted that they are living peacefully. Hence, recording the said statement made by both the parties, the complaint filed by the de facto complainant came to be closed.
4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
