The petitioners have preferred this writ petition for a direction upon the respondent no.4 for measurement of his agricultural land. It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that they have moved an application dated 19.06.2018 for the aforesaid purpose but no action has been taken at his end.
We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel and Sri Manoj Kumar Yadav, who has put in appearance on behalf of respondent no.5. With their consent the matter is taken on the Board for final disposal at this stage in terms of the Rules of the Court.
Having due regard to the facts of the case, we are of the view that the ends of justice would be subserved by issuing a direction to the respondent no.4 to take appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously.
It is made clear that we have not adjudicated upon the merit of the case. The respondent no.4 shall pass appropriate order independently in accordance with law.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
