List is being revised. Nobody is present on behalf of the petitioner to press the present writ petition.
By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has sought following relief :-
"(A) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay and ex-gratia lump-sum amount in lieu of appointment on compassionate ground or to appoint the son of the petitioner under the dying in harness Rules, 1974 in pursuance of the guideline contained in Circular dated 18.7.2006 (Annexure-6)."
I have examined the pleadings and grounds raised in the writ petition and perused the records. The writ petition is of the year 2009 and it appears that either writ petition is rendered infructuous due to efflux of time or petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the writ petition.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
