Absent) This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct respondents to continue the service of the petitioner for supply of food grains to 247 Anganwadi Center in Jagalur Taluk till the finalization of Tender Process for the year 2016-2017 as per the official memorandum issued by the respondent No.3 dated 26.07.2016 at Annexure-E and etc.
This Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing in ‘B’ Group, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the petitioner.
Sri.Vijay Kumar A. Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent No.1.
In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:
“a. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to continue the service of the petitioner for supply of food grains to 247 Anganwadi center in Jagalur Taluk till the finalization of tender process for the year 2016-17 as per the official memorandum issued by the Respondent No.3 bearing No.Z.P.DA:A(2):CR:38/15-16/2016-17 dated 26-7-2016 as per Annexure-E and b. Issue such other writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fit under the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.”
2. A Bench of this Court, while issuing notice of the writ petition on 08.12.2016, had not granted any interim order. By now, the proceedings for finalization of tender process must have been concluded. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
