JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to withdraw the entire case diary relating to Crime No.9/2010 from the file of the second respondent and hand over the same to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBCID, Villupuram or any other officer belonging to CBCID, Villupuram for further and proper investigation.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.9 of 2010, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed and the same was taken on file by the Jurisdictional Court. Subsequently, after due trial, the case ended in acquittal by judgment dated 05.10.2012 made in SC No.210 of 2011 by the Sub Court, Gingee.
3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.9/2010 and the case ended in acquittal, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
