JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.KL-8-AK- 2512 has been seized alleging transportation of Weathered Rock sand (ordinary earth) without any authority. According to the petitioner, this is not river sand or rock sand. 2. In view of the above, the petitioner shall move an application before the 3rd Respondent to take sample of the sand seized, for sending the same to the 4th Respondent for analysis. If the petitioner submits such an application within a week, the 3rd Respondent shall forward the sample for analysis within a further period of one week. The 4th Respondent is directed to send his report, within a further period of two weeks. Thereafter, the 3rd Respondent shall finalise the proceedings within a period of ten days.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
