Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court, an additional affidavit is filed by State affirmed by Under Secretary, Legal Department, State of Gujarat submitting that the Legal Department has in principle decided to frame norms with regard to appointment of Special Public Prosecutors. It is further submitted that aforesaid exercise will take some more time as the process of file will involve consultation and discussion and approval from the higher level in the Government. Under the circumstances, stand over to 23rd January 2012 so as to apprise the Court with respect to further steps taken.
