Counter affidavit is taken on record and it is stated in the counter-affidavit that the alleged detenu has been detained under detention order dated 30-05-2014 under Section 3(1) of the A.P. Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot Leggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986. Therefore, the police has detained the detenu under the aforestated provisions of the Act. Hence, we cannot exercise power in this jurisdiction. It would be open to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance.
2. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
