This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
"(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to decide the application No. MAP 20181006190943873 according to the prescribed procedure by the law within stipulated time, by providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to petitioner."
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that an application under section 15 of the Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 for sanction of map before the respondent no.2 has been filed but no order has yet been passed on the said application.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned standing counsel for the State respondents and Sri Vineet Sankalp holding brief of Sri Ravi Prakash Pandey, learned counsel for the respondent no.2.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner for sanction of map in accordance with law preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
