This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to ensure release of arrears of salary to the petitioner.
While entertaining the writ petition, following orders were passed on 13.8.2018:-
"It appears that the petitioner's entire retiral dues have not been released to him for the reason that his services rendered in other districts have not been duly counted for. Letters have been sent to the District Horticulture Officers, Badaun, Meerut and Bareilly. Submission is that the authorities are sitting tight over the matter and though the petitioner retired in 2011, but the entire dues have not been paid so far.
Learned standing counsel may obtain specific instructions in this regard from the respondent no. 2.
Put up this matter, in the additional cause list, on 21.08.2018".
It is stated that the grievance of the petitioner can be considered by the respondent no. 2, who would be competent authority to call for report from different District Horticulture Officer.
Considering the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of, permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no. 2 in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order within a period of two weeks from today. The authority concerned shall call for the appropriate reports from the concerned District Horticulture Officer and shall ensure that the petitioner's grievance is examined, in accordance with law. The amount which is due and payable to the petitioner shall be released with in a further period of three months thereafter.
