THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri. Raj Prabhu S., learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. Vijay Kumar A. Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
In this petition, petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to complete the investigation and submit the final report in Crime No.836/2015 of the first respondent station within stipulated time as per the FIR vide Annexure-E.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after registration of the FIR, no steps have been taken by the Investigating Officer to complete the Investigation.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that in case investigation has not been completed, the same shall be concluded expeditiously in accordance with law.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Officer to take effective steps for conclusion of the investigation as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of.
