The prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct the investigation in respect of the murder of one Pandurangan S/o.Veerappan to secure the ends of justice and consequently directing the third respondent to conduct an enquiry against the fifth respondent based on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2016.
2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after due enquiry, the claim made in the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2016 came to be considered and RCS notice was also duly served on the petitioner.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to raise all the contentions before the competent authority as and when required. No costs.
