ORDER: (per the Hon’ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) The writ petition is dismissed as we are of the view that the respondent-municipal authority has correctly turned down the request of the petitioner for not taking cognizance as the occupier has already paid the tax.
However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach appropriate forum, if so advised.
The miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
