JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is challenging the Order dated 28.05.2004, wherein, the respondent/District Collector issued a temporary Industrial Seniority list of the Deputy Block Development Officer, who was serving as a Deputy Block Development Officer as on 01.03.2004. After drawing the seniority list in the cadre of Deputy Block Development Officer and in the very same impugned Order the District Collector clearly said, if any person aggrieved by this Order may prefer appeal to the Office, through the Head of the Office within 15 days. Hence, the petitioner filed this writ petition challenging the above said order.
2. On perusal of the impugned order dated 28.05.2004, there is an appeal remedy available to the petitioner in the District Collector Office itself. Without exhausting the appeal remedy, approaching this Court is not sustainable.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent/District Collector to exhaust the appeal remedy available in the District Collector's Office. No Costs.
