JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records relating to the Cr.No.149/2015 dated 26.02.2015 on the file of the Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Hasthampatty Police Salem District and quash the same.
2. Pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioner and the second respondent/ defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and accordingly, they have entered into a compromise and filed an affidavit dated 16.10.2017.
3. In order to identify themselves, the petitioner and the defacto complainant /second respondent have submitted the photo copies of their Ration Card and Aadhar Card respectively viz., 1.Selvagethan  10/W/0078470, and 2.J.Kandavel - 2521 7924 0001 and after verification of the original cards, the same are recorded.
4. Today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and also have been identified. An affidavit of the second respondent/defacto complainant dated 16.10.2017 is also filed to the effect that he has no objection to quash the proceedings in Cr.No. 149 of 2015 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Hasthampatty Police Station, Salem District.
5. Recording the same, the proceedings in Cr.No. 149 of 2015 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Hasthampatty Police Station, Salem District, is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
6. The Affidavit dated 16.10.2017 between the petitioner and the second respondent/defacto complainant shall form part of the order.
