Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2011 requesting to transfer the patta in his name in connection with the property situated in Survey No.169/11, measuring an extent of 2098 sq.ft., in Pillanatham Village, Mallasamudram, SRO, Namakkal District.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given the representation as early as on 26.07.2011 requesting for name transfer, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2011 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2011 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
