State Wakf Board and another … Respondents THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.403 OF 2014 O R D E R This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 12-09-2013 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P. No.21022 of 2013 in W.P. No.40118 of 2012.
2. By the said order, the Andhra Pradesh State Wakf Board was directed to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 31-05-2013 and pass appropriate reasoned orders thereon in accordance with law.
3. It is now stated by Sri Shafath Ahmed Khan, learned standing counsel for the Wakf Board, that proceedings dated 15-04-2014 have been issued by the Chief Executive Officer of the Wakf Board upon duly considering the petitioner’s representation dated 12- 09-2013 and appointing an enquiry officer to undertake a detailed enquiry into the allegations made by the petitioner in the context of the affairs of Dargah Syed Khader Shah Aulia alias Bada Makan, Madanapally, Chittoor District. In the light of the action taken by the Wakf Board pursuant to the order passed by this Court, no grounds are made out for exercise of contempt jurisdiction.
4. The contempt case is accordingly closed. No costs.
