HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No. 1598 of 2013 ORDER:
This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 26.07.2012, passed by this court in W.P.No.23118 of 2001.
Counter affidavit was filed by the District Educational Officer, Warangal, stating that the amount due has been disbursed under proper acknowledgement and that no amount was due to be paid to the petitioners.
No reply affidavit was filed denying the counter averments. Further, there was no representation for the petitioners when this matter was taken up on 25.04.2014, 13.06.2014, 04.07.2014, 25.07.2014 and 22.08.2014. This lack of interest on the part of the petitioners in pursuing the contempt case reflects that the cause for grievance in this contempt case no longer survives.
The contempt case is accordingly closed. No order as to costs.
