Advocate (Crl.side) ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.2 of 2016 pending on the file and file the final report as expeditiously.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Koteeswara Rao and the same was registered in Crime No.2 of 2016. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 22.04.2017, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.2 of 2016 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
