JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. A.N. Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider their representation dated 13.02.2017, within time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners gave a representation dated 13.02.2017, which was sent by RPAD on 14.02.2017 to the respondents. However, the respondents have not considered the same yet.
4. Mr. A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass orders, in accordance with law.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the third respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 13.02.2017, which was sent by RPAD on 14.02.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
