For Petitioner : Mr.A.Sundaravadanan For Respondent : Mr.A.N.Thambidurai Spl. Govt. Pleader - for R1 ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider their representation dated 27.3.2017 and issue patta to them.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against the issuance of patta in favour of the 2nd respondent, the petitioners have preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent, which was also taken on file and notice was ordered to the parties.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 2nd respondent.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' appeal preferred against the order passed by the Tahsildar and dispose of the same, after giving notice to the 2nd respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
