Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 5th respondent to dispose of his representation dated 04.08.2017 to provide restoration of electricity connection under Service No.266-05-01 in Survey No.389/3A 1 at Poomdhandalam Village, Kundrathur Kuruvattam, Pallavaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District under Free Agricultural 3 H.P. Electricity Connection Service No.266.05.01 in Patta No.337 3 HP, within a time frame.
3. The petitioner appearing in person submitted that though he has given a representation as early as on 04.08.2017, the 6th respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the 6th respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2017, and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 6th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
