JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 16.06.2017 for the issuance of patta.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2017, given to the respondent for issuance of patta, the respondent has not passed any order so far.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
