Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner states that on the complaint filed by National Collateral Management Service Limited, a case in Cr. No. 5 of 2013 was registered under Section 408, 4-9 and 420 IPC against Swarna Bharathi Cold Storage Private Limited and its Managing Director Chinta Nippu Lalaiah on being referred by a Court and during the course of investigation, five other accused persons including her husband by name Srinivasa Rao were implicated and that her husband died in the meanwhile due to depression. The petitioner alleges that even after the death of her husband, the respondents-police were harassing the petitioner and the then clerk of her husband by name Rajkumar and pressurising them to settle the dispute with accused No.2 in the said case. Hence the writ petition.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that investigation in Cr.No. 5 of 2013 was pending and during the investigation, A3 who was the husband of the petitioner is stated to have died on 20.5.2014, hence his clerk by name Rajkumar was only requested to come to the police station for producing death certificate of A3 and for no other purposes and that there was no harassment or putting pressure on the petitioner and Rajkumar to settle the disputes as alleged in the writ petition.
In view of the aforesaid submissions of the learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents, the writ petition is misconceived and it is accordingly dismissed along with miscellaneous applications, if any. No order as to costs.
