JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry within a time frame and to register the documents executed by the petitioner, in accordance with law.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the proceedings before the 2nd respondent is pending for more than a year and therefore the 2nd respondent should be directed to conclude the enquiry within a time frame.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to conclude the enquiry, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 4th respondent.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
