Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 for cancellation of pattas which were wrongly issued in favour of the respondents 4 and 5 in respect of the lands to an extent of 0.95.0 Hectares comprised in Survey Nos.34/5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 part situate at Rangapanditha Agraharam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to the petitioner within the time to be stipulated by this court.

Pleader - for R1 to R3 O R D E R Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 24.07.2017 for cancellation of pattas which were wrongly issued in favour of the respondents 4 and 5 in respect of the lands to an extent of 0.95.0 Hectares comprised in Survey Nos.34/5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 part, situate at Rangapanditha Agraharam Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to him, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
