Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 12.06.2017 made by the petitioners for cancelling the patta issued to the respondents 4 to 7 within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that challenging the issuance of patta in favour of the respondents 4 to 7 by the 3rd respondent, the petitioners have given a representation dated 12.06.2017 to the 2nd respondent. However, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to treat the representation given by the petitioners as an appeal and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to treat the representation dated 12.06.2017 given by the petitioners as an appeal and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
