Respondents (The 1st Respondent viz., the District Educational Officer, Cuddalore is deleted, instead, District Elementary Educational Officer, Cuddalore is impleaded, as per the order of this Court, dated 14.02.2017) Prayers: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith re-fix the pay of the petitioner as that of his junior, namely, K.Sathiyamoorthy from 01.04.1996 and consequently direct the respondents to pay difference of the pay to the petitioner by considering and passing orders on the representation dated 21.10.2007.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying to direct respondents to forthwith re-fix his pay as that of his junior, namely, K.Sathiyamoorthy from 01.04.1996 and consequently direct the respondents to pay the difference of pay to the petitioner by considering and passing orders his representation, dated 21.10.2007.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that at the time of hearing, it is suffice to direct the first respondent to consider his representation dated 21.10.2007, as expeditiously as possible.
3. In view of the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner, this court without going into the merits of the case is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2007 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to appear before the first respondent with a copy of this order along with a copy of the said representation.
4. With the above observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
