JUDGMENT / ORDER

ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside proceedings in D.Dis.No.D1-CS/4590/2011 dated 08.11.2014 of respondent No.3, whereby he has cancelled the petitioner’s fair price shop authorization.
At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (A.P.) submitted that on realizing his mistake in passing the impugned order, respondent No.3 has restored the petitioner’s authorization vide proceedings in Rc.No.D1CS/9828/2014 dated 06.12.2014. He has placed before the Court letter dated 09.12.2014 of respondent No.3 addressed to the Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (A.P.), wherein the said information has been furnished. It is interesting to reproduce the relevant part of the said letter hereunder:
“However, at the time of cancellation, personally (sic personal) enquiry was not conducted and I have done (a) mistake for (sic in) passing cancellation orders(.) For rectification of my fault, I hereby restored (sic restore) the F.P. Shop authorization of Sri M. Kullayappa, FP Shop dealer, FP Shop No.35 of Narpala Village and Mandal vide in the reference 8th cited.”
In the light of the remedial steps taken by respondent No.3, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
The writ petition is accordingly closed. As a sequel to the closure of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.47618 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
