Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 27.5.2017 for rectification of errors crept in, in the revenue records, which were wrongly updated as poramboke land during UDR in respect of the lands to an extent of 1.98 Acres comprised in Survey No.52 and measuring an extent of 4.08 Acres comprised in Survey No.53, totalling 6.06 acres of Punugandoddy Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue patta to him within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2017, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far, for rectifying the errors in the revenue records.
4. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner' s representation and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
