This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 16.10.2012 passed by this Court in W.P.No.32531 of 2012.
2. The contempt case was admitted on 20.06.2014 and was directed to be listed for appearance of the respondents on 25.07.2014. While so, Contempt Application No.658 of 2014 was filed by the first respondent in the contempt case praying to dispense with his appearance on the said date. When the said application was taken up by this Court, Sri H. Venugopal, learned standing counsel for the APSRTC, stated that the order passed by this Court was the subject matter of appeal in W.A.No.1014 of 2014 and by interim order dated 15.07.2014, a learned Division Bench of this Court directed that pending disposal of the said appeal, the petitioner would not be entitled to further benefits such as increments.
3. In the light of the aforestated order passed in the appeal, this contempt case does not survive for consideration at this stage and is accordingly closed. No costs.
