JUDGMENT / ORDER

Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, directing the first and the second respondents to produce the body of the detenue R.Manisha, daughter of Ravi, aged about 20 years, now illegally detained under the custody of the third respondent and to set her at liberty, forthwith.
For Petitioner : Ms.T.K.S.Bharathy Anandraj For Respondents : Mr.V.M.R.Rajentran, APP for RR1 and 2 Mr.S.Dillibabu for R-3 ORDER [Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN,J.] Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent.
2 This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the first and the second respondents to produce the body of the detenue, namely, R.Manisha, daughter of Ravi, aged about 20 years, before this court and to set her at liberty, forthwith.
3 At this stage of the hearing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the detenue, R.Manisha, had been produced before this court. The detenue, who is aged about 20 years, had stated that she had married the petitioner, on 9.11.2016. The detenue had further stated that she is not under the illegal custody of her father, the third respondent herein, who is also present before this Court, and that she is willing to go along with the petitioner herein.
4 In such circumstances, we are of the view that it is appropriate to permit the detenue, who is a major, to go along with the petitioner, as per her wish. Accordingly, the detenue, namely, R.Manisha, is permitted to go along with the petitioner herein, as per her wish. No further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. This Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
